2026–2031 STRATEGIC PLAN

LAUNCH OF THE FIVE-YEAR STRATEGIC PLAN

The Union has prepared and approved its Five-Year Strategic Plan (2026/27 to 2030/31), which will guide the Union's operations and development through nine priorities implemented for the benefit of Members and farmers.

Key Historical Milestones

Lindi Mwambao Cooperative Union (LMCU) Ltd began operations in October 2014, under an interim founding committee.
The Union's first Annual General Meeting was held on 27 September 2017.
The Union received its official registration on 19 February 2018 (Registration No. 5596).
As of February 2026, the Union has a total of 61 Member AMCOS, from Kilwa, Lindi Municipal and Mtama districts.
